Loris, SC
Loris, SC is a small town located about 20 minutes from North Myrtle Beach along Highway 9. Loris is famous for it’s annual “Loris Bog-Off Festival” when locals try to win the title of “Best Chicken Bog”. For those of you non-South Carolinians, “bog” in this case does not mean “mud”! If you have never had good ‘ol Southern chicken bog, you owe it to yourself to visit and give it a try!
